Can I bring a bottle of liqueur into the DR? The last time we here here, one in our party could not find her favorite,

Yes, you may. Also, note that they sell top shelf liquors and liqueurs as well as other duty free times at the arrival area of Santo Domingo's Las Americas airport almost immediately after you exit the bottom of the stairs, PRIOR to arriving at the immigration area.
