Well Tom, I am so sorry that you are ill as well. There is a very good chance that myself and my three year old son are also in your predicament.

We have been sick with your same symptoms and are awaiting results from our second set of blood smears to come back from the lab.

All I can say is that I wish ECH M.D. had posted more malaria warnings before my trip. I would have been a lot more cautious during my vacation.

I would have gladly prevented all this. I hear the meds for malaria are pretty hard on the system and especially the liver.

I wish people would stop saying "Relax and don't worry about malaria!!!" on this board they are only going to get a rude awakening.
