Default Just Returned From Riu Palace Macao

A group of 4 of us just returned from the Riu Palace Macao in Punta Cana. We all loved it! The beach and pool area are both beautiful. The staff and service are excellent. The food is OK but everything else about the resort more than makes up for the food being just OK. I would agree that people from the US are definitely the minority here, however, I certainly did not feel we were discriminated against in any way. I felt the opposite to be true in that the staff went out of their way to make certain we were happy and having a great time. Several evenings at dinner the hotel manager came to our table to see how we thought everything was and if there was anything we needed or would like to see changed. I would definitely recommend this resort. If anyone has any specific questions about the resort just send me an e-mail.

Hi Connie; when would you recommend to take the dinner reservation 7:00 PM or 9:00 PM. Also can I use my curling iron? Furthermore, how is the casino? Thank you I am leaving Thursday.

We had a 9:00 dinner reservation. The 7:00 time fills up quickly. We didn't mind 9:00 because we ate and then went to the show at 10:00. We usually never go to the shows at all-inclusives, but these shows were very entertaining. They will give you an adapter for your curling iron at the front desk. If you use more than 1 electric appliance in the bathroom take an adapter so you can plug in 2 or 3 things. I would also recommend taking your own blow dryer if you use one. The one provided is not very powerful. The casino is a lot of fun and we actually won quite a bit of money. The drinks in the casino are not included, however, you can go to the bar next door in the theater and get drinks and bring them into the casino. Have a great time.
