My cousin and I returned from Punta Cana on March 3rd. We loved it. If you only do one tour, make it the monster truck tour. We learned so much about the Dominican culture and had a ton of fun. It cost $83 US and lasted from 7:30 am to around 5:30pm. My cousin seemed to have a difficult time with her travellers checks. She could only cash them in at the hotel, and she could only get pesos and not US money. E-mail me if you have any other questions!
