relocation to santiago

i'm been relocated to santiago by my employer. i spent 2 days back in feb/2000 looking for homes but i felt i was being taken advantage of . i'd like to find a nice penthouse for june or july preferably with 3 rooms. this is to be rented for a short term so that i can find a suitable house for my family & i. i'd appreciate any referrals/tips thanks a million

I do know of a house in a nice middle class neighborhood that will be going on the market in the next year. In fact it could probably be purchased sooner. It has been lived in by Americans sice it was built. Therefore it has things which many homes do not have, such as partial air, and screens on all windows. I have sp[ent a lot of time in the house myself and would love to relocate and live there, but conditions do not allow it. If you are interested in more information, feel free to send me email.
