Jack Tar v. Amhsa Paradise Beach Club

Hi! My friends and I are traveling to the DR soon, and we have our choices narrowed down to these two resorts in Playa Dorada. We are ages 18-22 and we are interested in the quality of the beaches and the varierty and excitement of the nightlife. if anyone has stayed at either resort or preferably both, please let me know your preference. thanks.

Jack Tar....I havent stayed there myself, but adults only resort. I know kids and children can be a bother on vacation but its nice to see and stay at a family/all ages resort. Jack Tar you will see more couples and older population. Staying at Amhsa...u will be right there at one of the better discos in the Playa Dorada Complex. This disco is called Crazy Moon Disco. Oh Jack Tar has the casino if that is of more interest?

I agree with Milli, if you want a resort where the minimum age is 18 go to Jack Tar; if not go to the Paradise, I understand they are both very nice resorts. Jack Tar is closer to the end of the Complex, hence if you are going into town alot better for walking; The Paradise however is closer to the shopping Plaza and discos. The Paradis also has a casino too!
