Default Are you experienced?

To everybody who lives in the Dominican Republic or has traveled it for a while: If you had the choice to go to Cabarete at the end of Septembre or in October or November-which month would you choose? I have been there in April and June and it was fine. I know that weather is always kind of unpredictable, but any recommendations will be highly appreciated.
Thanx th everybody who might provide information.

The Caribbean hurricane season is from June 1 until November 1, check the attached URL link before you go. The period from December until June is generally better than June - December.
It is a hurricane in the Atlantic right now heading for DR.

Maria,

most rain on the north-coast is during November thru February, especially in December and January.

The chance of hurricanes after september is quite low in the DR and I would not make a big deal out of that. You will be save in your hotel.

So there is not much difference in the time you mention, maybe October is a little better than the others.

Default Link to good hurricane page

The hurricane season has officially started. For those interested in tracking them and reading about them, past, present and future, this is a good link:
