cedula & passport

can someone please tell me where to go and get a cedula and passport and the cost of them,if there is an office in puerto plata please leave the address or phone number, or if not in puerto plata the number to one else where, I am in a hurry for this information. I thank all of you who respond

A cedula can only be secured after you have residency in the DR and that is done in Santo Domingo at the JCE government building at the rotunda where the arch and Dominican flag are located. Which passport are you looking for US or Dominican? The US one can be obtained at the US Consulate branch in Puerto Plata #51 Beller office number 6 on the second floor. Hope this helps.

this is not for me this is for my husband, he has to get his cedula b/c he never got the new one and he will need his passport for when he get his visa to leave and also how long will it take to get them both he is dominican

They chance the rules some years ago and now the have even a office for that papers here. But I dont know how long it take a.s.o.. Just that my wife did it last time here....
