Re: from PP to Punta Cana
The best choice to get there is by Air Santo Domingo. This is about an hour's flight.
If you go by car it is about four hours bus/car ride to Santo Domingo, the capital city, and then four hours to Punta Cana.
If you want to see both destinations and choose not to fly, we suggest you overnight in Santo Domingo, prior to continuing on to Punta Cana. Santo Domingo is site of the first Cathedral in the New World and to the Alcazar, where the discovery of the Amerias was planned. It also has the best night life in the country.
