Cheap Hotel in Cabarete

I am looking for any suggestions of cheap hotels in Cabarete. Either on the beach or one WITH beach access. I usually stay at all-inclusive resorts, but I want to get away from that and quietly relax for a week.

Any suggestions will help!

Last weekend I stayed in the Caribe Surf hotel. It´s situated at the right-end of the beach, beach-side of the road.

Really nice hotel. Friendly owner, has it´s own bar and swimming pool and rooms are only 400RD$ per night for a double room.

I´ve yet to find anything better price/quality wise out there.
