Golf in Puerto Plata

We are arriving in POP Feb. 5 and my husband heard that there was a golf course nearby (We are at the Flamenco Beach Resort.). He and a friend were wondering a couple of things about the place. First, how early do you have to get the tee times? Also, are there golf clubs there to rent? The guys have their own, but it is a lot to carry down and they would like to avoid it if possible. Finally, what are the green fees?

What the web site doesn't tell you is that supposedly after 1:00 a cart is no longer mandatory and the cost is accordingly cheaper. Also the rental clubs leave a lot to be desired.

It will make your round so much better. And make plans to visit Playa Grande, too...Will make the whole trip unforgetable! Word!
