Hotel in Juan Dolio

Hi,

I would appreciate hotel recomendations for Juan Dolio; something reasonable, $50 or less for two, ac, safe and, if possible, on the beach. Liked the Zapata at Boca Chica. Anything similar in JD?

Also, what would be reasonable $RD to take a cab there from Las Americas?

In Plaza Flamingo, across from "Melia Juan Dolio" they have 6 studio apartments, one year old addition, on the second floor. Price? $150USD/week per studio, max 2 people. Call the owners at (809) 223-0477; 341-1156; 526-1121; 280-9166. The names are Thomas Kreuzer and Gerd Sojka, German fellows, Thomas speak a little English, Gerd only German and Spanish. If they don't have space at Flamingo, they will find a place for you at a reasonable price, somewhere in Juan Dolio.
