Need information on Private American School

I will be moving to D.R. (La Vega)in a few weeks. I have a nine
year old son who does not speak the spanish language and needs to attend a private american school. Does anyone know of any good schools in La Vega or even Santiago. I am willing to travel to Santiago as long as my son is in a good school.

Don't know one way or another to recommend them but
I know they have a lot of students who have lived in
the States and need help with Spanish. It's a bilingual
school. There's also the Santiago Christian School,
bilingual as well.

At age 5, I put my daughter in a Spanish speaking school in Santo Domingo with little more than her knowledge of how to count to 10 and say a few greetings. She did really well and quickly learned how to speak Spanish better than I could! I would encourage you to at least consider a bilingual school. It will likely be a great learning experience that he'll value for the rest of his life!

Thank you for your advice. I would like to place him in a biligual school, I was under the impression that the American
schools in D.R. also teach Spanish. I definitely want my son
to learn Spanish since we will be living in D.R. for a while.
