Get a bus (Caribe Tours or Metro) to Santiago, then get another one to La Vega. Any taxi will take you tothe La Vega bus stop..corner of Estrella Sahdala and Rep Argentina.
Do not bring anything remotely resembling a bottle or a weapon. Police search allvehicles entering the city. All done to insure your safety..
