Default DR Yacht Marinas

Anyone have any knowledge of marinas in the DR and their locations? I've read of several yacht clubs but they seem to be open to members only and may have transient slips available. Maybe membership is the answer. Any comments on the costs of a club membership and how available they might be? We're planning some long range crusing in the Caribbean and considering the DR as a home base where we might come back to leave the boat and travel to the US. Also looking at possibly owning or long term rental/lease on a permanent land based home/villa/condo.

Don't look any further.

The place you are looking for is Marina Punta Cana at Punta Cana Resort and Club, which is located in the eastern tip of the Dominican Republic.

The Marina has 50 slips provided with potable water, phone, electricity and cable-tv, plus diesel and gasoline.

Besides it has an apartment bulding with condos for rent or sale, swimming pool and restaurant.

The fees for the slips are very reasonable and ideal for long term periods.

Besides, there is a large hotel (Punta cana beach resort) a new golf course and best of all, The Punta Cana International Airport is just 15 minutes away !!!.

Please contact Mr. Alcaris Gonzalez for further informations and prices. You may contact him by phone (809) 221-2262 extension 8004 or by his e-mail address: agonzalez@puntacana.com

You can also visit our web site : www.puntacana.com

Best wishes

Check out all the club naticos around the island look in the phone book or you might try contacting Lt. Commanader Scott Bauby with the U.S. Coast Guard based here in Santo Dominigo. He should have a list of all clubs. His Phone # is 809-221-2171 Ex. #220.
