Is Valentine's Day celebrated in the Dominican Republic? In the States it is purely a Hallmark holiday but I was just curious if it was celebrated elsewhere.

Yes, they celebrate it much the same as we do. Since Latinos are not known to lack in the romantic department, expect thoughtful expressions of love on this day if you are involved with one of them.
