Walk from Playa Dorada to Sosa ?

Hello,
Can a person walk from Playa Dorada to Sosa along the Beach ?
If so how many miles ?

No. you would most likely get run down by a 747 at the airport or get arrested by the Dominican Air Force, they have a base right next to the air port. If you could it would be about 15 miles.

Actually Rob the beach ends just past Playa Dorada and there are these big coral cliffs with sharp rocky outcroppings. That is why the airport was built there...Good for airports, bad for swimming..

this is not a reply, but a question. are you able 2 walk (on the beach) from paraiso del sol to the nanny resort? thanks

Better to walk in the other direction. It is only about three miles to Puerto Plata. Take the bus to Sosua.

Richard was quite clear on this--There is an Air force Base and the International Airport in the way and you are not allowed, even if it were doable, to walk across there.

HEADLINES: AA 737 sucks wandering tourist into turbine and aborts takeoff. Playa Dorada covered with human remains...
