Stamps And Volleyball.

The Dominican Republic and the United States will play one or more volleyball games in the Dominican Republic starting on February 16th. Does anyone know if there will be a special cancel used by the Dominican Republic post office to commemorate these games? Maybe a special stamp? Does anyone reading this collect stamps of the Dominican Republic?

There are plenty of stamp collecctors around the DR, and the Post Office has a special Philatelic Division for first day and stuff like that.

This is supposed to be a Dream Team selection from the Women's Pro Volleyball League, but I don't think it is more than hype.

Although the DR men's team did do a 3-0 to Venezuela and they are pretty good...

The Cuban coach of the women's team is doing a bang up job on these girls, but they still don't get the financial support they need.
