Default Santo Domingo University

I have been searching all over the internet for information on the University in Santo Domingo, but have come up with nothing. Is there a University in Santo Domingo where an American can go and receive a teaching degree? Also, any other information that might be helpful would be appreciated.

Default Try UNPHU, INTEC or APEC or

Universidad Catolica de Santo Domingo.

Those are the four best for teaching. PUCMM do not offer the Teaching degree any longer.

I went to the library today to reseach the school and found a web site for APEC. Unfortunately it must be wrong. Does anyone have the correct website? Also does anyone know if any of these colleges have classes taught in English?

Here are a few Dominican university web addresses. Go to link, open, and scroll down to the Dominican Republic. APEC isn't listed, but ITESA, UNPHU, and others are on the list.

Here's another link to APEC language school. The direct connection to APEC (www.unapec.edu.do) seems to be down. Check the link below.

Default None teach in English, why should they?

The only programs that are taught in English are the for-profit classes in medicine at UNIBE and UTESA in Santo Domingo.
It would be a waste of time to teach univeristy classes in English, especially for such a poor paying profession such as Teaching K-12...
Sorry, but that's life.
If you want to get a teaching degree, you are better off getting your degree in a good State university, where it is subsidized, where loans are available and where you can speak the language.
New York City is dying for teachers...so are most major metropolitan areas...
Good luck!
