Default Sustainable Development, Michael

There are quite a few different activities in regards to sustainable development. As far as a village the best example would be a project in Rio Limpio, Loma de Cabrera. The guy's name who managed it is/was Marc and 10 years ago it was a very impressive site with a wide variety of projects. Has anyone been there lately and can tell us whether it is still functioning. My most direct knowledge is about the work being done near Quita Espuela in San Francisco de Marcoris. They work more to protect land, plant trees and provide some support for local farmers.

Loma de Cabrera's Rio Limpio project was still alive and well in mid-1998, when I visited there. A great bunch of people and a really beautiful, unspoiled part of the country!
