family search & public records

hi i am searching for family records of my family in the dominican republic. does anyone know if i can search birth, marriage,death records,immigration, and arrest records online? if so what websites would i go to? also i would like to go to the dominican republic this spring to do research where would i go to find records. are these records public information in the dominican? thank you for your help. antonio

Antonio, I believe you can find any record at the "Archivo Nacional.(National Archives)in Santo Domingo. You maight have to spend some money for help. I'm not sure how it works.
