Pricing At Puerto Plata

Need help. How much do things cost down there in the Dominican. Such as gifts, excursions, cigars, etc?????

stores in pop that have prices (which are few) are very compareable to prices in Canada if you dicker off another 10-25
percent with no tax you probably did well , depending where it is
made e.g. tee shirts , shorts , etc. gift items that are carved
in stores same thing. If not priced divide by 4 and start from there e.g. large carving I bought the vender wanted 2500 rd and I
paid 350 rd and a lipstick from the dollar store , maybe I still paid too much but it was a lot of fun anyway . the free enterprise system is great, whether you win or loose a good deal is when both buyer and seller are happy , but you might as well be the happiest.Lipstick nail polish candy are great to throw in as temptation , also sun block is very expensive in the DR so take lots of your own. have fun!

talk about expensive sunblock....I spent almost $11 U.S dollars for a bottle of sunblock in POP.
