stores in pop that have prices (which are few) are very compareable to prices in Canada if you dicker off another 10-25
percent with no tax you probably did well , depending where it is
made e.g. tee shirts , shorts , etc. gift items that are carved
in stores same thing. If not priced divide by 4 and start from there e.g. large carving I bought the vender wanted 2500 rd and I
paid 350 rd and a lipstick from the dollar store , maybe I still paid too much but it was a lot of fun anyway . the free enterprise system is great, whether you win or loose a good deal is when both buyer and seller are happy , but you might as well be the happiest.Lipstick nail polish candy are great to throw in as temptation , also sun block is very expensive in the DR so take lots of your own. have fun!
