who do I address my letter too

I am getting married in dr i understand that I need a letter from a lawyer stating I am single I would like to know who should this letter be addressed to.

Are you shure you need that letter - I know people who did bring just their passport!!! (But the rules may have changed)

Hey. I wonder about this too. I know that you do indeed need this letter. Anyone else? Where in DR are you getting married? I am still in the process of decisions and am going crazy!!

hello i got maried in DR 14 years ago ( and i still !!) i was one of the first to do so,, The judge who maried us ask a sort of letter it is an «addenda» to your birth certificate saing that according to the register of law and church where you are from you are not maried. Now you just bring it to the judge when you reserve him for your marriage. In Puerto Plata for me it was Arturo Serrata but i guess is is retired now but his office still open it is near Post office ans Malecon.. good luck.
