Default Re: Moving there...

Well cathy let me tell you that my name is cathy also. jajja. And I have more in common with you that you will ever know! I took fell in love with someone in DR this past summer. I'm dominican and have visited DR for years now. I too want to leave everything behind to try it out there. I hear it is not easy living there and that it is very distinct from vacationing there. That is the first thing yu must understand. And like me it will probably take us moving there and actually liveing there to understand that. I know I'm determined to leave.I have been researching jobs and networks through my friends and family over there so taht i can see what my options are. I know I cant leave now cause i need to save money to have a basis to start living there although i would be staying with family, but just knwo its a different life and taht maybe the people living there are happy cause theyd ont know anything else and just know that yu will be missing alot of accomadations we as americans take advantage of. Maybe i should be taking my own advice but sometimes there are things we humans have to figure out on our own and not go by word of mouth so good luck email me if u need more advice i thin we have a situation in common.

cathy i guess you are not leaving in a city or near by.. if you think they are happy because they do not know anything else...you are in the wrong direction.. DR has the same thing we can find in Montreal or other large cities..the country is full of young people who wants to make their future.. they works and they will exit.. there is a lot of money and business overthere. And econmy is going over and over increasing.. i hope i explain well my opiniion even english is not my first language.
