Spanish Schools

I am looking to come to the Dom Rep for a month in August to learn Spanish, do you know of any schools that cater for professionals and have relatively small classes, (5-6 people), and also don't charge the earth:>)

Check out www.edase.com they have schools in Sosua and Santo Domingo. Not been myself but I have heard good things about them. Have a great time.

I would second the edase recommendation. Their Sosua school is called Casa Gothe and is run by a group of Germans. I learned a lot of Spanish during my two week course.

At both locations, we offer two types of courses: the standard 20 hour per week course and the intensive 30 hour per week course (see prices and course dates on the following pages). Our courses cover all levels, from beginner to advanced. All our Spanish teachers are well experienced in teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language. The prices are designed for group courses - up to 5 students maximum. Besides the group courses we also offer
private classes.

Enclosed are the pricelist and starting dates of this year's classes. Please, let us know what kind of accomodation you wish, how do you estimate your Spanish knowledge (beginner, beginner with basic knowledge, intermediate or advanced) and when you would like to start the course.

Our standard courses include 20 lessons and our intensive courses 30 lessons per week. One lesson lasts 45 min.

The prices for these courses depend on the accommodation chosen.
