hotel near consulate

Need a hotel within easy walking distance of the American consulate on Maximo Gomez. Suggestions were the Caribe or the Continental. Anybody with info?

I think the Hotel Cervantes is quite closer and all you would have to do is walk up the Cesar Nicolas Penson and cross the Maximo Gomez and there you are! (You even are close to the US Embassy)

Hotel Lina on Maximo Gomez & 27 February is excellent with all the amenities and a very nice pool. Walk is a little farther but not that far and if you don't feel like walking you can get the OMSA bus for 3 pesos across the street and it stops right in front of the consulate and you back track the same way. I mention that for bad weather situation.
