Default Oh Clara, Dear Clara! I am hereth!

But the current stir will get worse before it gets better.
This is the first time i can remember that any of the political parties have been so busted.

while most politicians know that governing parties are there to fill their own pockets, it has never-to my knowledge- been so blatently stated!...

Gomez, son of an old MPD communist leader, killed in Europe (supposedly by the CIA for the kidnapping of a military attaché), had the training of the old school communist that always put party before country. Just like the PLD motto: Serve the Party to serve the Country. cut from the same cloth, so hard to discard....and they got it on tape!!

Most of my political friends have always said that the PRD's worst enemy was the people of the PRD!! they are so inept!

Sect of Ag. Jaquez announces a RD$40,000,000 program to make irrigation more efficient by leveling the irrigated land (sounds great and logical, right?). Said funds to be administered by the Ag Bank. Wanna guess who owns the largest lasar equipped levelling company in the RD? Right! Silvio Carrasco, the head of the National Hydraulic Institute!! Which just happens to manage watersheds and irrigation waters...Gee, it looks like a slight conflict of interest, huh?

Howeth isth that? clara?

Default Ode to the invention of video cameras

So much for my Shakespearian English. This board was getting a little too boring with postings about hotel addresses and used cars.

So, now that the cat is out of the bag, what is the “Head Agronomist” gonna do about this? I wonder. I see that the Guido-boy is in hot water now, and I expect the agronomist will give him the boot soon. His anti-fans club will cheer from here when he goes for good.

Did anyone else have the sensation that all the news today –check the DR1 news- where aimed to proving that we have one of the most inept government seen in this lovely island in the last 509 years?

Inept indeed, sir...I'll tell what though, D.R. will not get fixed for good until people stop fearing the "MAN" and take matters into their own hands and start taking down some of these demagogues sharp-shooting their asses down... Complacency is NOT a virtue.
