Punta Cana/Bavaro Beach for a Day?

Is any area of the beaches of Punta Cana and Bavaro open to the public for a day only visit, or do you have to be a guest of a resort/hotel there? Are there any chairs or umbrellas that could be rented for what price? Thanks, Joyce

yes, all the beaches are publics in DR.
the best way that you can have access is through El Cortesito (there are some small inns in that area too), and you will have over 30 miles of beaches where you can swim.
there is a fantastic grill (Captain Cook), they have the best grill lobster.
