Is it possible to travel cheaply to DR from somewhere like Miami e.g. by plane or boat etc. As it seems very expensive to come come direct from the UK.
Also take a look at lynxair.com for their rates from Ft.Lauerdale.
You can buy tickets in the UK for around 300 pound return.
If you look around you can get even better prices.
I have seen as low as 189 pound return from Manchester recently.
Just search the web, I'm sure you will find a cheap flight from the UK.
