Default For people that want to teach here->

I was recently talking to a wonderful young lady that teaches at the most prestigious (well at least the most expensive) school in Santo Domingo.

She told me that under no circumstances should you come here with the intention of getting a good job that pays a living wage!

She said that the only way to do this is to go to a job fair and apply BEFORE you even get here. As a "foreign hire" your pay scale is much higher, allowing for savings and not just hand-to-mouth existance.

She suggested "International Schools Services" or ISS. This is the recruiting service used by the major bi-lingual schools here.
