There are no beach houses or villas on Boca Chica Beach. In fact, there are only 3 hotels directly on the beach (Hamaca, Don Juan, Zapata). Almost all lodging in Boca Chica is 1-6 blocks from the beach. The beach is lined with quaint bars and restaurants along the eastern 1/3 and the other 2/3 (from Boca Chica Resort to the Marina) has no buildings of any kind - just trees, rocks, sand, and a few beverage stands.
