Default International School of Sousa

I am moving to the Sousa area early next year. I have a 15 year old daughter that I am considering enrolling in the International School of Sousa. She does not speak Spanish yet. I would like to know if anyone has had some experience with this school. They seem to be up-standing, but I would like to hear from someone that has first hand knowledge of this school.

Thank you in advance. Richie

I have lived in this area a few years. The international school of Sosua has a good reputation and is probably a good alternative to home schooling. Children have the opportunity to learn several languages, hands on. Good luck with your move.

Richie,

The International School in Sosúa is an all English school that offers ESL (English as a Second Language) for its students with non-english backgrounds. Since all classes and activities are in English, your daughter will have no problem there. She will have the option to learn other languages as they are also available as options. This is a very good school in every aspect from small class sizes, computer labs and other available teaching aids, and very qualified instructors. My daughter attends there as well as many of my friends children. I am very happy with the quality of education my child is receiving at the International School and would not hesitate to recommend it for your daughter. Hope this helps!

We are moving from Canada and our 15 year old daughter will be attending grade eleven at the International School of Sosua. Visit their web site at: www.tropicalschool.com. I have been told that there will be about five students in her grade. Good luck in your decision making.

poor you,
sosua is very nice to live for short term.
after 2 weeks youll get fed up of the beaches and the one pedro clisante main streat. then youll see onlt prostitutes, drug dealers, sankipankies and other scum.
sorry , but sosua is a cultural desert and i will not recommnd it as a permanent address. above that, the intl school is the only thing you can go. no theater, movies, medical service...
unless you are soooo rich that you can leave in one of the fancy places like sea horse runch or puerto plata
