Where in Playa Dorado

Going to Puerto Plata..Where in playa dorado should I stay. My wife, kid and in-laws. Is Occidental Playa Dorada nice?

Gran Ventana, Paradise, Flamenco or Occidental are all nice, Jar Tar is adults only. Villas Dorada and Playa Dorada are a bit older but still acceptable. Inside and not ocean front but with shuttles to beach Club on the Green, Fun Royale/Tropical and Victoria resort are nice clean 3 star resorts.

Can't speak about the other resorts mentioned but my wife and I have enjoyed 4 Februarys at Gran Ventana. We are older and possibly because of that noticed the number of children, from babies in arms (and strollers) to teen agers there with their families.

It is very close to the small Plaza, which among other things offers Internet access. The beach is even closer and we learned that there are numerous activities organized for the youngsters.
