I have heard of a program that is by the government to populate the western side of the D.R.....to improve working conditions,and supply jobs.....any one know anything...how I get the latest info???

Get in touch with Bienes Nationales office in Santo Domingo. When i lived there my uncle used to be the controller. There was a plan in place that Dominican returning where going to get 20 tareas per family member, this was a way to get an influx of American dollar into the country.

Yes an American friend of mine sent me an excerpt from some publication about a month ago and according to that there is some sort of program like that in existence. I will try to get some info for you.

BIENES NATIONALES is where the government transfer property, if there anything to be done that the office to get the real information. This proposal plan was around during George Blanco. Its intention was toward returning Dominican with Dollars to retire there.
