Hello in august/september we will go backpacking in the DR for 3 weeks. Looking for tips on places to visit, cheap accommodation and great divingspots.
Suggest you head to Samana/Los Haitises/Miches (Playa Esmeralda) on the Northeast or to Barahona/Pedernales on the Southwest. You may also consider staying in Bayahibe from where you can rent a boat for Saona and Catalina diving spots.
