Default AN OPEN CHALLENGE+THIEVERY

ALL DOMINICAN, we should form a third political party to get them out of controlling everyting. Public employee should not have to declare their party affiliations. public employment should be filled with qualified people. The spoil system has to end. The memtal, physical and economic of the country is in bad shape due to the constant stress. There is no job security, if you don't tow the line of either party we can not work. The freedom of conscience, is a not allowed. It is everyones RIGHT to have a secure job after taking a test for the job without political parties being the one making this important CHOICE.

Those that will replace these politician that have been perpetuating the spoil system. This is the only thing that makes the country waste their money on people that are
not qualified to do a job. We need new views,a new pair of lences when it come to Their place in the society. No more here come the King and his court of thief.

I understand, but how do you propose to get elected on the promise that you will not give your supporters positions while your opponents do...

How will you implement change in the system with out firing all the corrupt employees of the previous regime. That inherently makes you the same as them...

I mean these as honest questions.. This is a very serious problem

The power of degree is one of the think that has to be eliminated. I am not actual starting a camgpain to run for office , but someone has to start the ball rolling. Everyone uncluding TW talks that it can't be done. The nay sayer its why changes are never made. Changes large or small like a tree start small and then grow. The seed of real freedom might begin now and take several years to come into been. I am the farmer that is planting the idea of reforms to be carried out until it produces the needed result.

I am not suggesting that it cant be done. I hope that it can. It is just that I dont know how. Additionally I am not a Dominican Citizen so I cant vote there anyway.

I am aware of some sort of movement that is being done in india. It requires some percentage of posts to be held by women. This would fit in with TWs concept that DR men are not to be trusted in political position.

Its just a thought....

another possible way to kill this problem is to form a bill that outlaws the practice by providing some sort of limited tenure on all positions below a certain level. Directors and other high level positions need to be replaced to implement the existing presidents power.

The law would then take effect several years down the road (lets say 3 election cycles) so the current political party could have no immediate vested interest in it.

as always, thoughts and comments are welcome

That's what am planting the seed to start theDR citizens thinking of the right changes that has to occurr before they have a true democacy. I don't need to strugle, I was lucky to have been born to families that are well conected, we have been involved directly and indirectly, Uncles, cousins in different post within the governments. That were I have gotten the real education to the reality of the corruption. I was introduce in 1984 to president Blanco cabinet by the administrator of Bienes Nationales, My uncle Antonio (Rodriguez) Molina. He used molina to hide his private live. I actually told them all together that if they start hanging public employee for been thiefs, there were not enough electrical poles, and they would have to cut the first hung to hand the next batch. Within a week they had offered me a job with a salary equal to that of cabinet member. I decline, several weeks later I recieved an invitation from Mr. Galager meet, I decline due to the fact that I had no time to get involve in the political arena He actually wanted me to run for a Public Office.

I thought you said that you're not a dominican citizen. How can you run for public office without being a dominican citizen? Who's mr. Galager? The comedian?

I am a Domonican who has NEVER in forty years in the US has been convienced to become a citizen. I have been force into an agresive defence of our short coming in the reforms which are very neccessary to omplement a real democracy. many American don't see the short comings in their system, but are alwasys cutting others down, by calling us the Banana Rupublic, to our faces here. That is ussually extremely ofensive. I am talking about university level adults all the way up in age from 25-60. this type of rudeness makes me more determine in staying a Domincan. I rather be a First Class Citizen of DR than be as third class American.
