I was wondering if there is a Dominican Cookbook out there for me to purchase in the states? I hope someone can help me, thanks.

I saw one in a book store the other day on Dykeman Street, a couple of blocks from Broadway in Washington Heights, Manhattan. It was titled, "La concina dominicana".
