Hotel is okay but food is quite basic. Staff are friendly and helpful. Drinks all taste the same. entertainment good, pool clean and plenty of sunbeds. Boca Chica itself is okay although quite expensive once they know you are a tourist. Ideal for Santo Domingo loads to see and do great city. Have fun

In spite of the important number of holiday-makers in this big-hotel , are the structures adapted in consequences (restaurants, swimming pools etc....), should we wait to be been of use to the bar or the other one? ? Will I need an European electric adapter?
Tell me about the beach ( are there so much people in Week-end, and the Itinerant salesmen !!!). Is the beach private ???

There is no problem getting drinks at the bars. The restaurants are large enough so there is no overcrowding. The beach is private but it is about 100yards to the water and you may get hassle from salesmen etc. The beach bar is open 24hours and serves hotdogs, burgers etc all night. There is no disco although music is played at the beach bar until the early hours. There is also an Italian restaurant and a Chinese (very nice) you are allowed one visit per stay. Entertainment usually finishes at 1130pm the annimation team work very hard and very long hours. If you can take a local bus to Santo Domingo only 14pesos and visit the aquarium and the underground caves they are amazing i have never seen anything like it before. Enjoy your trip.
