DR1 Cocktail Hour in Santo Domingo ?

After seeing the post about the DR1 "get-together" on the north coast I thought about "DR1 POSTERS" getting togeth at a local bar,hotel,restaurant,or other "neutral" site for a Friday afternoon drink.Nothing formal,just stop by if you want to.Being new here,don,t know if this has been tried before or not.If so, hope it didn,t end in a fistfight!Please tell me that the post that threaten bodily harm are not serious. If so ,then we all need a few "Cold Ones".Any "Takers"? Any suggestion as to time and place?

I'm planning on coming into town on Friday the 27th of July. If you guys are going to do anything on the 28th, e-mail me and let me know.

Now that I think of it, I can probably come in Thursday night for Friday cocktails.

How did the Puerto Plata get together work out? Somehow I missed it.

I will be happy to reserve space for another one in POP. How about at Anna's Bar and Grill on Avenida Colon at Noon next Sunday July 29th? Bring your own boxing gloves.

They have a patio around the swimming pool.There is a bar with service to the pool/patio area.Very casual and low key.I will try to arrive at 5PM.If you know Spanish then you know that "El Grandulon" means "THE BIG GUY".At 6ft.6in. and pushing 400lbs.you should have Noooooow trouble finding me!Come over and say Hi!Spread the word,bring a friend,lets meet some new friends.See you there.
