Default Storm Tracking Tool

If you have regular use of a computer and normally track the storms this time of year, take a look at the program offered by Hurricane Software. There is a free version and a paid version; the only difference being that the company sends the storm coordinates to those who have paid. However, they are readily available from a great many sources and can be manually entered very easily. You can keep the tracking chart for as long as you want it on your computer, and you can erase and/or print it any time you want.

I have to manually put the coordinates in to view the storm on the graph. Where can I get this?

If you are asking about the map coordinates, they are on the map the software puts on your screen. You can toggle between coordinates and no coordinates if you want. If you are asking about where to get storm coordinates, there are many sources. See, for example, the list DR1 offers if you click on the Hurricane link just above the message board.

Also of interest about this tool is that it has the tracks of all previous hurricanes. You can look at them one at a time, or several at same time. You can also compare track of the current storm with tracks of some previous storms (providing you subscribe to the reporting service, or providing you enter enough coordinates of the current storm).
