can a non resident form a corporatio in the dr. does a dominican have to own part of it or be the president?

Not necessary. Any foriegner can be President or any of the other six directors that make up a S.A. Sociadad Anomina company or C por A Corporacion con Acciones. Corporation with shares. They do not even have to live here.

you can also operate it as an offshore .
if you wish to have dominican coporation you can keep all shares to yourself, less 6 shares for other shareholders 9minimum 7 total), regrdless of your possition or title in the firm
