Looking for info on Barcelo Decameron Resort

We are planning to vacation at the Barcelo Decameron Resort in January. We would appreciate any information about it.

It's the pits!

I was there in February 2001. Not bad, but too big and the hotel's beach is not good. If you're looking for a beautiful beach in the area, you have to go in Boca Chica (15 minutes by car from the hotel). But the hotel's staff is incredible and they present many good shows. You have also many other animations during the day and the evening. Anyway, it's a huge resort (500 rooms I think or more) and there are many, many people (tourists).
