wreck of the mary celeste discovered

for anyone interested in maritime history/archaeologist there is a great article in the toronto star newspaper today.

it is believed that the wreckage of a boat on a reef off Haiti near Port-Au-Prince is that of the Mary Celeste, built in Nova Scotia in 1861 and deliberately run aground off Haiti in 1884.

there have been numerous books written about this famous ghost ship.

I read an article in the Montreal Gazette about 1 month ago concerning this discovery. I believe it's the same ship. If I remember correctly, there is a team of explorer from Canada and Germany going down there to tape a special or something of that sort. Great story!!
