Can I rent a handy ??

Hi there,
I'm coming to the DR in oktober and I want to have a mobile phone with dominican network, because my own doesn't work in the DR. Does anyone know if it is possible to rent one, because the last time I was there, I saw the prices of the handy's, expensive !!!

I was told that at the Airport in Puerto Plata, Codetel rent
Celular's (Handy) about 500 pesos a week, possible with a Deposit of 3'500 - 3'000 pesos. Some App-Hotel's are renting them to. But if you are traveling to the D.R. more then once, it will be cheaper to buy one.
