Ross was faster with the response, Canadian Rockport Homes International website at http://canadianrockport.com ; I got interested when I heard that Nelson Riis is involved in this company.

Let's see how they do in the first venture, and have to consider the valid points MaxxJaxx raise in his post above.

i dont know if they have an equivalent product but there is also a company based in Cobourg, Ontario that was featured several years ago on CBC's Venture program that used prefab concrete construction methods. as i recall they had planned an extensive export market. they had quite a large manufacturing facility in the town's industrial park. i'm trying desperately to recall the co. name but am drawing a blank. give me a day or two and i'll see what i come up with.

Default Whats all this about?

I remeber travelling around in Russia twenty years ago and they majorely constructed in prefabricated buildings! The same is beeing done in other countries today!

The point is, if it is not done properly you will run in lots of problems and newer ending repairs! And this is to my believe the mayor reason for the low acceptance of this way of constuction! Apart from the everyones personality, which hardly will be covered up by standard buildings!

Now guess, who is going to construct and assemble these buildings over here? And how much expirience does the mentioned company has???

I guess you see now where the problem lies!

I prefer my custom made block and concrete buiding!

Henry
