HELLO ALL , IM ROBBY FROM BELGIUM AND IM GOING TO PUERTO CANA FROM 1SEPTEMBER TILL 11 SEPTEMBER . IS IT TREU THAT THERE ARE A LOT OF TORNADOS THEN ???

No, but hurricanes sometimes pass through then. In fact, some would argue that Sept. is "prime time" during the hurricane season, when historically the really bad ones have come through the area. Haven't seen the stats to prove that's really the case, but I did live through one bad September hurricane in Santo Domingo -- named Georges -- and once was enough for me!

Go to the north coast to be sure. I beleive the north coast at least until Samana has not had a hurricane in over 90 years.

Their are no tornados . They are hurricanes .
And yes it is possible . But no problel . The staff in the hotels help you what to do in case of a hurricane .

For people at home they have more afreid than you .
