Questions about La Universidad Autonoma...

I've been looking for information about La Universidad Autonoma de Santo Domingo, but it appears that their website is down. I tried calling, but there was no answer. Anyways, if you have any good information about the school, please let me know. (tuition fees, etc., would also be helpful.) thanks a lot, Justin

UASD is not the best place for a foreign to study.

Too politicised(?), too many poor teachers, poor Registrar's Office, general lacidasical attitude towards study. No library, for example.
You would be much better off at Intec, UNPHU, or APEC, or if you are a good student, at PUCMM's facilities in Santo Domingo.

My wife studied there for two degrees. She is in agreement with you Hillbilly on the poor registar office and too much politics but she assures me that there are many good teachers there and there are libraries in each faculty. From what experience do you speak? I have read many of your responses and find that you are right on the money for most.
