I remember the broadcast so very well and agree it is as pertinent today as it was then. We always seem to take our friends for granted and it certainly doesn't hurt to let friends know how much they are appreciated. Canadians may not always approve of American actions or policies but thank God for America and Americans. American pain is our pain. There is no other country I would rather share a border with. May God bless America.
