Since this was some time ago, I sort of forgot what was happening-especially with all that happened this past week.

However, it had something to do with potatos and chips, I seem to recall....

As I understood the situation, Dominican potatos were going to be sent to Puerto Rico for making potato chips. Since P.R. doesn't produce potatos, it seems like a logical thing to do.

I can certainly agree with you about re-located businesses bringing back stuff manufactured overseas...In North Carolina, the furniture business is dying due to China. Ethan Allen, Thomasville and other famous houses are turning more and more towards overseas manufacture of their products....it is a sorry state of affairs and difficult to reason out all the different variables, and come up with a fair solution for the most number of people.
