There ain't so such thing as a Dominican Hillbilly. Campesino or mountain folk maybe but no Hillbilly.
And the one you started to cross swords with is one of the board regulars and very articulate...just think 40 years ago he couldn't spell the damn word and now he ARE one! And he grew up in spittin' distance of your back door.....WEST-BY GOD- VIRGINIA!
He is definitely ONE OF US. I say US because I am from Johnson County, little North East of Perry County. You brought back the memory for me of my first trip to Louisville at the age of 7 or 8 (a week end school outing) and the host kids looked at us when we got off the bus......not at our faces....but our feet! And from somewhere in the crowd came, "look, they actually wear shoes!"
